We are both honored and thrilled that you’ve chosen to join us in Jamaica for AJ’s 10th birthday! As you know, Jamaica is where I was born and we visit often. The beauty of the island, warmth of the people and deliciousness of the food are what keep us coming back year after year. We’re so excited to share some of that with all of you. It is my ferverent hope that on this trip, our kids will create memories and bonds to last a lifetime as we celebrate AJ, Beau and Mason’s 10th birthdays, and another successful school year for us all! I’m hopeful we parents will have a time to be remembered too!
We’ll be staying at the 5-star, all-inclusive resort, Moon Palace Jamaica from August 5th through 12th. This resort is a home away from home for our family, dating back to my childhood. I visited often as a child, it’s where I took Adrian on his first trip to Jamaica 20 years ago, and out of all the places the kids have visited, it is their favorite. AJ wouldn’t hear of celebrating his birthday anywhere else.
Reservations will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis so we encourage you to make your reservation and deposit right away! Be sure to make reservations through Claire Skies Travel, our designated travel agency, so that your reservation will be made at the special rates within our reserved group block.

An initial deposit of $100 per person (double/triple/quad) or $200 per person for single occupancy is due when booking your reservation.
Final Payment/Full balance due no later than June 1st, 2023.
OFFICIAL GROUP TRAVEL PERIOD:
The official group travel dates for this trip are August 5th – 12th, 2023. However, you may arrive/depart any day within these dates for a minimum stay of 4 nights. Additional nights subject to availability at time of booking.
FLIGHTS:
Jamaica is a short 3 hour and 15 minute non-stop flight from BWI Airport. Southwest Airlines offers non-stop flights between BWI and MBJ (Montego Bay International Airport) daily. Their fares also include 2 pieces of checked luggage and 1 carry-on so we primarily use them when traveling to Jamaica. You are of course welcome to use the air carrier of your choice, but please be sure to fly into MBJ only. Airfares have surged post-pandemic and Summer travel is being booked rapidly, we suggest purchasing airfare whether on Southwest or another carrier at your earleist convenience.
Once booked, please share your air itinerary with myself and Claire@claireskiestravel.com as this is needed to book the ground transporation included in your stay.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS INTO JAMAICA:
COVID-19: Protocols that must be followed for entry into Jamaica are determined by the Jamaica Ministry of Health and are subject to change without notice. U.S. CITIZENS: Valid passports are mandatory for everyone traveling internationally, and for entering or re-entering the United States by air. Many destinations require Passports to be valid at least six (6) months past the scheduled end of your trip, and contain at least 3 blank pages for official use. Travelers intending to secure (or renew) a passport, are encouraged to do so at least 4 months prior to travel. No visas or special immunizations are required for this itinerary.
MINORS: When a minor is not accompanied by both parents or legal guardian we recommend that the responsible adult traveling with the minor take along an original, notarized, signed letter from the absent parent/legal guardian authorizing the minor to travel with you. Please check with your air carrier.
